Winter Camping

One of our family Christmas gifts was a camping trip. Of course we headed south where it's a little warmer. We ended up near Kanab, Utah at Buckskin Gulch. They have amazing canyons. We hiked part of buckskin gulch which is very narrow with high walls. Too bad we don't have a picture! Unfortunately while we were hiking Jessica fell into a puddle of ice water and was soaked from the waist down. I was glad I had dressed in layers and was able to strip her clothes off and give her my long johns and an extra shirt to wear. She was okay and was able to hike out!Each night we built a big bon fire to keep warm. Of course we had some fireworks to throw in to celebrate the new year!
